SHERBROOKE, Que. – Bishop’s University is gearing up to host the 2015 Baggataway Cup. The Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association Championships are set to faceoff one month from today, November 6-8 on Coulter Field.

The 31st annual event will pit the best university lacrosse teams from across Quebec and Ontario for the right to be crowned 2015 Baggataway Cup champions.

This year will mark the second time Bishop’s will host the event. In 2004, the Brock Badgers topped the Gaiters in the final.
?
The Gaiters have one title to their name, having won the event in 2011.
?
To celebrate the one month to go mark, the organizing committee, spearheaded by Gaiters’ General Manager Drew Pollock, is launching the tournament website and a countdown clock on the Bishop’s Gaiters website. Tournament passes and individual day tickets are now available online.
?
“The brand new facility we (Bishop’s University) opened last year is a perfect fit for the Baggataway Cup,” said Pollock. “We’ve had a great amount of support from the university, athletic department and community towards lacrosse in recent years and we have a wonderful fan base.? We are really excited to show some of the best lacrosse in the country to this group.”
